In 1991, the first ever kpop boy group debuted. They were called Seo Taiji and Boys. They were a huge hit in Korea and began take off shortly after their debut. They had a western influence with their music but it was also seen as something new and fresh. After they disbanded in 1997, just 6 years after their debut, their impact started off what would be come a Kpop Revolution.

First Generation is the oldest where you will find artists like BoA,Baby V.O.X,Cooki, etc. The oldest 5th gen which is the newest groups such as BoyNextDoor,RIIze, and more.These are the generations. Now we have out most recent generation which is the 5th generation groups. These groups are fairly or newly recent so 2023-present day.
